In 2021 I worked at Macclesfield’s Silk Museum, doing historical research and organising a Summer of Art to get people back to the museum after all the changes and disruptions caused by Covid. I didn’t have much time to get it all designed, organised and advertised but in the end it was a wonderful summer: 20 craft events from portrait painting to jewellery and robot making, involving Macclesfield folk of all ages.
