In May 2022 novelist Kate Mosse nominated On This Day She as a book to ‘unite us in troubled times’ in a Guardian feature, calling the book ‘a joyous and celebratory tribute to all those who battled to be heard, who fought for their achievements to be recognised and honoured, who simply kept going’.
Kate has been a wonderful and constant supporter of the @OnThisDayShe project, often sharing and liking our tweets and featuring us first in her Bookshop shop of books about women in history. Jo Bell and I were thrilled to be invited to the launch of her own history book, Warrior Queens and Quiet Revolutionaries, in London in October 2022.
