On 22 March 2023 I had the great honour of giving a talk about On This Day She for the American Women’s Club of Hamburg. ‘Putting Women Back Into History’ was their event for Women’s History Month and was held in the amazing Spiegelsaal of the Museum für Kunst und Gewerbe.
The talk was attended by over 100 people, including the US Consul General Jason Chue. He said afterwards that my talk had made him a better diplomat, a compliment I’ll never forget—and never hear again! I met many many fab women of lots of different nationalities. And even some men! It was such a joyful hopeful event.
