On 27 June 2022 I took part in the Latvian Poetry event of the European Poetry Festival. The evening was a series of collaborative performances. Lucy Furlong and I danced the ‘Circle of Sorla’, a rite based on the rituals around sun goddesses, in particular the Latvian goddess Saulė. The audience joined in and we had a grand old time. Afterwards we distributed bags of rye grain to wish plenty on all who attended.
